Associations between fatigue and physical and psychological wellbeing in multiple sclerosis

  • There are strong associations between fatigue and a number of multiple sclerosis (MS) outcomes (e.g. depression, walking ability).

Why this matters

  • Despite significant advancements in treatment, fatigue continues to be a major challenge in managing MS. Previous studies tend to focus on the associations between fatigue and an individual specific outcome, not to mention small sample sizes.

  • The findings of this study examine the association between fatigue and both physical and psychological wellbeing.
