Migraine as a chronic evolutive disorder: what do we understand about the neurobiology and what are the implications for care?

If you examine the literature dealing with the neurobiology of migraine, there is still too often a view presented that migraine is a static disorder – the neurobiology does not change, the symptoms remain the same. But much progress has been made in recent years towards an improved understanding of migraine as a chronic disorder that evolves over a person’s lifespan.
