Quality of life and depression in a Finnish population after intracerebral hemorrhage

  • Health-related quality of life (HRQoL) after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is affected by stroke severity, comorbidities, and age in patients with mild deficits.

Why this matters

  • Investigation of factors affecting QoL after ICH may lead to identification of patients at risk for depression or anxiety and allow for better focus in follow-up and treatment.
