Subjective cognitive decline as a predisposition for non-Alzheimer’s disease dementia

  • Participants from memory clinics with subjective cognitive decline (SCD) were at a higher risk of progressing to non-Alzheimer’s disease (AD) dementia when compared to individuals from community-based cohorts.

Why this matters

  • The incidence rate of progression from SCD to non-AD or AD dementia has not been predicted before.
